Define the place and purpose

Choose locations that fit your audience and your actual service area. Agree placement and activity permissions with the responsible parties before production. A larger number of printed pieces is not automatically better than a smaller, relevant distribution.

Use a distinguishable response route

Give each major placement or distribution group a tagged landing-page link or QR destination. Keep tags understandable to the team. Use a short form that asks only what is needed for follow-up. Test every route before the campaign starts.

Capture real operating evidence

Record where and when materials were distributed, quantities, staffing hours and direct costs. Review enquiries by source and ask how the customer heard about you when appropriate. Shared links and repeated exposure mean attribution will never be perfectly exclusive.

Compare quality and cost

Evaluate qualified enquiries and completed business against the full cost of production and distribution. Low scan counts may indicate an unclear offer, poor visibility or an awkward next step. Inspect those causes before simply printing more.
