Start with search fundamentals

SEO includes helping search engines discover and understand your pages while making them useful to people. Give each page a clear purpose, descriptive title and internal links. Make the important content available as text, and inspect indexing rather than assuming a published page is indexed.

Answer the real question

AEO is commonly used for preparing direct, useful answers. Explain what a service includes, what it costs, who it suits and how to start. Show conditions next to claims. Structured data should match the visible content, not introduce extra promises.

Build material worth citing

GEO focuses on discovery and citation in generative answer systems. Original examples, transparent methods and documented expertise are more useful than repeatedly inserting your brand name. Google says no special AI markup is required for its AI search features; eligibility does not guarantee inclusion.

Measure the right evidence

Track indexing, relevant search clicks, useful enquiries and sampled AI citations separately. Google’s May 2026 update retired FAQ rich results, so adding FAQPage is not proof of a rich-result benefit. Keep useful questions for visitors and review current official guidance.
